We are recruiting Y-Nurse (Yokohama City Disaster Support Nurse)! Please lend your help in the event of a disaster.

It is a nursing profession working as a "medical rescue squad" based on disaster preparedness plan, Yokohama City, together with pre-registered doctors, dentists, pharmacists, and city officials in the event of a disaster such as the Great East Japan Earthquake. Activities include emergency medical care mainly for mildly ill patients at clinics on Minami Ward holidays and evacuation shelter (designated elementary and junior high schools).

Qualified public health nurses, midwives, nurses, and associate nurses living or working in Yokohama, who can provide support activities at evacuation shelter in Minami Ward (designated elementary and junior high schools) in the event of a disaster. (However, in principle, those who are supposed to attend the workplace in the event of a disaster, such as working at a hospital, are excluded.)

Please fill out the registration form with required items and bring it to Minami Ward Health and Welfare Center Health and Welfare Division, below by mail or e-mail.
In addition, new registration by Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system is possible.
(It is necessary to have user registration in advance for registration using the Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System.)

After accepting the application form, you will receive a Y-Nurse registration certificate. (In the case of application by mail, e-mail, or electronic application, we will send it by mail at a later date.)

In addition, training will be conducted multiple times a year.
