Photographer comment

Around 6 o'clock in the morning on the day of shooting, the temperature was low at the end of October and when passing through Sakashita Bridge on the way to work, morning fog rises in the Onda River, and the morning sun gradually begins to rise, and eventually the sky begins to turn orange morning tan .

Shooting location

Tookaichibacho, Midori-ku, Yokohama-shi

Comment by Mr. Hideo Mori

Mr. Hideo Mori

The morning sun dyes the clouds golden and captures the exquisite balance that overlaps with the morning fog on the river surface. It is a beautiful work including color and composition.

"Snow Morning" Photographer: Mr. Yoshitaka Iwane

Photographer comment

The snow that had fallen from the day before stopped, and Yokohama was fine from morning. At around 7:30, I went to Kamoike Ohashi to shoot and photographed the snow scene downstream of the Tsurumi River from Ohashi. Kamoike Humanitarian Bridge was crowded with passers-by at the time of commuting, and the trees on the Tsurumi River and the riverbed glowed in the morning sun and were beautiful.

Shooting location

Kamoike, Kamoi, Midori-ku, Yokohama-shi Ohashi

Comment by Mr. Hideo Mori

The glowing morning sun tells the beginning of a winter day. You can hear the breath and footsteps of those heading to the station quickly from a distance.

"Singing view," Mr. Yunao Sugizaki

Hideo Mori Excellence Award
"Sunset" Photographer: Mr. Yunao Sugisaki

Photographer comment

The sunset reflected in the paddy field just planted, and I was able to shoot just the place where the Yokohama Line passed on the way home from shopping.

Shooting location

 Oyamacho, Midori-ku, Yokohama-shi

Comment by Mr. Hideo Mori

The sunset with gentle colors is reflected in the paddy field just after rice planting, and the Yokohama Line runs just two minutes away. The scenery is full of nostalgia.

Shooting location

Comment by Toshimasa Inoue (Chairman of the Midori Ward Association of Self-Government Associations)

Mr. Toshimasa Inoue

This is a photo of the Yokohama Line proceeding in the tranquility of snow in a familiar place since childhood, but it seems that you can hear the sound of a train that makes you feel vitality.

"Midori Mayor's Award" 1 point (supplementary prize: certificate, book card 3,000 yen, souvenir)

"In the middle of raising children" Rakuchin

Photographer comment

Parenting in the heat of summer. A kingfisher parent who is busy flying around for the young birds and feeds food. After this, I swallowed it. Sometimes I use it for myself and save my physical strength. We look forward to raising children of kingfishers every year. I want to support you with your parents and children!

Shooting location

Terayama-cho, Midori-ku, Yokohama (Prefectural Shikinomori Park)

Okada: Comment from Midori Director General, Yokohama

Ms. Okada

In the intense heat, the parent kingfisher at the moment you get the food for raising children is fun. Midori Ward has abundant nature that makes it easy for creatures to raise children. In addition, in Yokohama City, we aim to be a "town that has raised children."
