Photographer Comments
- Around 6 o'clock in the morning on the day of the shooting, the temperature is low at the end of October, when passing through Sakashita Bridge on the way to work, the morning fog enters the Onda River, the morning sun gradually begins to rise, and the sky begins to turn into an orange sunrise.
Photographing location
- Tookaichibacho, Midori-ku, Yokohama-shi
Comments by Mr. Hideo Mori
- The morning sun dyes the clouds golden, and captures the exquisite balance that overlaps with the morning fog on the river surface. It is a beautiful work that includes color and composition.
"Hideo Mori Excellence Award" 2 points (Supplementary prize: Certificate of merit, book card 3,000 yen, souvenir)
"Snow Morning" Yoshitaka Iwane
"Snow Morning" Photographer: Mr. Yoshitaka Iwane
Photographer Comments
- The snow that had fallen the day before stopped, and it was clear from the morning. Around 7:30, I went to Kamoike Ohashi to shoot, and photographed the snowy scenery downstream of Tsurumi River from Ohashi. Kamoike Humanitarian Bridge was crowded with passers-by at the time of commuting, and the Tsurumi River and the trees on the riverbed were beautiful shining in the morning sun.
Photographing location
- Kamoike, Kamoi, Midori-ku, Yokohama-shi Ohashi
Comments by Mr. Hideo Mori
The shining morning sun tells the beginning of a winter day. It seems that the breath and footsteps of the people heading to the station quickly could be heard from a distance.
"Evening View" Yunao Sugisaki
"Evening View" Photographer: Mr. Yunao Sugisaki
Photographer Comments
- The sunset was reflected in the paddy field that had just been planted, and I was able to shoot just where the Yokohama Line passed on the way home from shopping.
Photographing location
Oyamacho, Midori-ku, Yokohama-shi
Comments by Mr. Hideo Mori
In the paddy field where rice planting has just been completed, a gentle shade is reflected, and the Yokohama Line runs just like two minutes. It's a scene full of nostalgia.

"Yokohama Line (Yukino Yoko is not)" Eiichi Hyodo

Photographer Comments
- I took a picture of the Yokohama Line train that runs fast even in the snow.
Photographing location
Ibukino, Midori-ku, Yokohama-shi
Comment by Toshimasa Inoue (Chairman of the Midori Ward Association of Self-Government)
- This is a photo showing the Yokohama Line moving in the tranquility of snow falling in a familiar place since childhood, but it seems that you can hear the sound of a train that makes you feel vitality.
One point of "Midori Ward Mayor's Award" (Supplementary prize: certificate of merit, book card 3,000 yen, souvenir)
"I'm in the middle of raising children."
"In the middle of raising children" Photographer: Rakuchin-san
Photographer Comments
- Child care in the heat of summer. A kingfisher parent who flies around for young birds and feed them. After that, I swallowed it. Sometimes I use it for myself and build my physical strength. I'm looking forward to it every year. I want to support you with your parents and children!
Photographing location
- Terayama-cho, Midori-ku, Yokohama-shi (prefectural Shiki-no-Mori Park)
Fumio Okada, Yokohama Green Director General Comments
In the intense heat, the parent kingfisher at the moment when I got the food for raising children is fun. Midori Ward is rich in nature that is easy for living creatures to raise children. In addition, we aim at "town which we raised child" in Yokohama-shi.
