In order to preserve Midori Ward's current state of Midori Ward's nature, cityscapes and activities, as "Midori Ward Photo Archive Photography," we will hold a photo contest on the theme of "The Four Seasons of Midori Ward." We look forward to your continued support! (Application has been closed.)

Since the work data uploaded to the electronic application and notification system will be compressed to reduce the server load, we will ask you to resend the original (original data) again after the winning and honorable works are confirmed. Please note that the original (original data) will not be destroyed.

Only those who cannot use the Yokohama City Electronic Application System, we also accept mail and bring CD-R. (It is not possible to apply for USB memory and development photos.)

Period and destination for bringing

• From October 3, 2022 to 17:00 on November 30, 2022
• Please bring it to the Public Relations Section window on the first floor of the Midori Ward government office between 8:45 and 17:00 on weekdays. Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and outside the designated time period.

• Up to 3 photos per person taken with a digital camera (smartphones are also acceptable).　※Multiple applications for the same subject are not allowed.
• Photos taken in Midori Ward or related to Midori Ward, taken with a digital camera.
• Photos taken from January 2019 to November 2022, unpublished self-made and not scheduled to be announced in other contests in the future.　※You can apply for works posted on personal blogs and SNS.
• The file format of the image data is limited to JPEG. 10MB or less per sheet.
• Single photos (group photos and multiple photos are not allowed). Minor processing such as trimming and brightness correction is possible. ※The ward office does not process data for application.
• 3 million pixels or more, 1MB or more recommended for use in printed materials.
• If a person is shown as a subject, the consent of the person (subject) must be obtained so as not to infringe on portrait rights.

• Personal information provided to the Midori Ward Office through this contest will be used to announce winning works and notify the results of the judging, etc., and will not be used for any purpose other than the purpose of use.
• The name, title, date of shooting, and location of shooting may be specified when using works in public relations and publicity materials for the purpose of promoting the appeal of Midori Ward, the name, title, date of shooting, and location of the film.

• The winners will be announced on the Midori Ward website (scheduled for February 2023).
• Works will be exhibited at the Midori Ward Office (scheduled for February 2023).
• We announce in public information Yokohama Midori Ward version.

Prize-winning works will be made available to third parties on the Midori Ward Photo Archive section of the Midori Ward website.
Your consent to this is a condition of winning.

• Prize-winning works are published and stored on the website so that third parties can use the photos taken and collected by the Midori Ward Office and photos provided by residents of the city.Midori Ward Photo ArchiveIt will be published and provided.
• Prize-winning works can be used free of charge in publications issued by Yokohama City without the permission of the photographer. In addition, under the conditions stipulated in the Midori Ward Photo Archive Terms of Use (e.g., respecting the photographer's copyright, displaying licenses, etc.), anyone can use it free of charge without the permission of the photographer.
• The provider of the winning work shall not exercise the moral rights of the winning work. ※Other property rights such as copyright and ownership of the submitted work belong to the photographer.

Winners will be sent a separate survey (name, work name, other desired items, etc.) for photo provision requests and publication.
If you do not receive a response by the deadline, you will be deemed to have abstained from the prize.
