What is the Green Environmental Action Promotion Council?
Midori Ward citizens, businesses, and governments work together to achieve the goals of the Yokohama City General Waste Management Basic Plan (Yokohama Pra 5.3 Plan) and the Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan.
The 2024 Green Environmental Action Promotion Council General Meeting was held on May 20, 2024.

2024 Green Environmental Action Promotioner Award
The awards were given to individuals and groups in Midori Ward who made efforts to create a clean and clean city. In fiscal 2024, there were 9 winners and 2 organizations.

Awareness at events and other events
In collaboration with Neighborhood Association, environmental business promotion staff, and consumer life promotion staff, we are promoting the 3R dream plan and raising awareness of global warming.

In addition to holding environmental classes at nursery schools, kindergartens, elementary and junior high schools, we also hold briefing sessions for Neighborhood Association and various organizations.
