Promotion of Green Environmental Actions

Midori Ward residents, businesses and governments are working together to achieve the goals of the Yokohama City General Waste Management Basic Plan (YokohamaPla 5.3 Plan) and the Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan.
The 2024 Green Environmental Action Promotion Council General Meeting was held on May 20, 2024. .

The awards were given to individuals and organizations in Midori Ward for their efforts to create clean and clean cities, including local cleanup and greening activities. In 2024, there were 9 winners, 2 organizations.

In collaboration with Neighborhood Association, environmental business promotion staff, and consumer life promotion staff, we promote the 3R Dream Plan and raise awareness about global warming.

Enlightenment activities in the community

In addition to holding environmental classes tailored to age at nursery schools, kindergartens, elementary and junior high schools, we also hold briefing sessions for Neighborhood Association and various organizations.

We hold awareness-raising events on decarbonization and the promotion of SDGs.
