Reused tableware
Reusable tableware is tableware that can be washed and used repeatedly, and is used instead of disposable cups, dishes and chopsticks.
In events that provide food and drink, by using instead of disposable containers, garbage from events can be reduced significantly.

Boxes for collecting paper such as newspapers and cloth such as used clothes are installed at the following public facilities. Usage dates and hours vary from facility to facility.

Paper to be collected and how to put it out
- Newspapers, leaflets, magazines
- Separate newspapers (including folding leaflets) and magazines separately and tie them with paper strings.
- Paper packs such as milk (excluding those with aluminum back)
- Wash, open, and put some dry ones. Since aluminum back cannot be collected, please put it out as "burnable garbage" on the normal collection day.
- Other paper (wrapping paper, memo paper, empty boxes of sweets, etc.)
- Put it in a paper bag (if not, a translucent plastic bag).
Cloth to be collected and how to put it out
This is used cloth. Please tie it with a string or put it in a translucent plastic bag.
Futon cotton, pillows, leather products, etc. cannot be collected, so please put them out as "burnable garbage" on the normal collection day.

Recycling of small household appliances
We collect and recycle small household appliances such as mobile phones, digital cameras, and personal computers for the purpose of effective use of resources and domestic circulation.

Items collected
Products that can enter a 30cm x 15cm slot and operate with electricity and batteries less than 30cm in length.
Notes
- For products that contain personal information, please delete personal information.
- Do not put small household appliances in bags, etc., but remove the batteries before taking them out.
- Parking fees are not eligible for reduction if you come to the Midori Ward Office only by using a small home appliance collection box.
Small rechargeable batteries (rechargeable batteries)
A collection box for small rechargeable batteries (rechargeable batteries) has been installed.

Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Green Office / Midori Ward Office (in front of the elevator on the 4th floor) / Collection cooperating store (outside site)

- Nicad batteries
- Nickel-metal hydride batteries
- Lithium-ion batteries
*Small rechargeable batteries are marked by the recycling mark (three-allow mark).
*Collection at the ward office is limited to small items weighing less than 500 grams.
Notes
- +- insulate the pole with vinyl tape, etc. before putting it in the collection box.
- Mobile batteries are intended for small ones for charging mobile phones and smartphones. Large items such as for car installation cannot be collected. Please consult with the manufacturer or distributor.

- For various batteries other than the battery of the electric assist bicycle, please consult the purchaser or collection cooperating store.

- Alkaline batteries, manganese batteries, lithium primary batteries, and coin batteries (format symbol CR or BR) should be delivered together on the day of collection of batteries (the same day as burnable garbage).

We have installed a collection box for used ink cartridges.

Genuine ink cartridges from five printer manufacturers (Brother, Canon, Dell, Epson, Japan HP)
Notes
- Please put the genuine ink cartridges of each company in order to perform advanced recycling processing at the homecoming project participating companies.
- Significantly damaged or modified products should not be put in as they may hinder recycling.
- Do not put anything other than ink cartridges. Toner cartridges are not eligible.
- Please take your bags and boxes home with you.
- Parking fees are not eligible for reduction if you come to Midori Ward Office only by using the ink cartridge collection box.
