What is the Green Santa Project?
Green Santa Project
The Midori Santa Project is an activity in which young people and children play a central role, wearing Santa hats and picking up garbage in the town. Why don't you pick up garbage together and present a "beautiful" and "smile" to the town!
Midori Santa Project 2023 will be held in collaboration with Toyo Eiwa University, Yokohama So Masaru Hanabusa, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Yokohama University of Commerce.
※This project is different from "Midori Santa" sponsored by the Terra Project.

Date and time: Sunday, December 10, 2023 10: 00-12: 00
[Place] Around JR Nakayama Station
[Meeting Location] Midori Ward Citizens' Activities Support Center "Midorimu"
※Please come at least 5 minutes before the start.
[Number of applicants] First 10 students in the first to third graders around Nakayama (accompanied by parents, but only one guardian)

①Divide 10 applicants into teams and pick up garbage on the 700m-1000m route
※When picking up garbage, the secretariat staff will accompany you.

[Details of the day]
Number of participants: Approximately 50 people
We were blessed with fine weather, and we were able to finish safely.
I learned food loss at a big sugoroku.

Oh Necessary tools (tongs, gloves, garbage bags, Santa hats) for the day will be provided by the secretariat.
Oh Participants will be given a souvenir.
Oh On the day of the event, all participants will take out accident insurance in preparation for risks such as injuries and traffic accidents (insurance premiums will be borne by the ward office).
