Let's pick up garbage with elementary school students and college students' older brothers and sisters!

What is Midori Santa Project?
Green Santa Project
The Midori Santa Project is an activity in which young people and children play a central role in wearing Santa hats and picking up garbage in the town. Why don't you pick up garbage together and give "beautiful" and "smile" to the town!
The Midori Santa Project 2023 will be held in collaboration with Toyo Eiwa University, Sou Masaru Hanabusa, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Yokohama University of Commerce.
※This project is a different activity from "Midori Santa" sponsored by Terra Project.
Details of the implementation (It has been completed successfully. Thank you very much.
Date and time of the event Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 10:00 to 12:00
[Location] Around JR Nakayama Station
[Meeting place] Midori Ward Citizens' Activities Support Center "Midorimu"
※Please come at least 5 minutes before the start
[Number of applicants] The first 10 students from elementary school 1st to 3rd grade around Nakayama (accompanyed by parents, but only one guardian)

[Contents of implementation]
①Divide 10 applicants into teams and pick up trash on the route of 700m to 1000m.
※When picking up garbage, the secretariat staff will accompany you.

➂Let's play with a huge sugoroku!

[Details of the day]
Number of participants: Approximately 50 people
We were blessed with fine weather, and we were able to finish safely.
I learned food loss from a big sugoroku.

Others
Oh Tools (tongs, gloves, garbage bags, Santa hats) required on the day will be prepared by the secretariat.
Oh A commemorative gift will be given to the participants.
Oh On the day of the event, all participants will take out accident insurance in preparation for the risk of injury or traffic accidents (insurance premiums will be borne by the ward office)
