In Odesa, a sister city of Yokohama, which is coming to a severe winter, measures against cold weather are urgent issues for citizens who are involved in the restoration of buildings and roads outdoors and those who have evacuated to Odesa from Ukraine. In response to the request of emergency humanitarian assistance from Mayor Kennedy Turhanov, we announced that we will deliver cold protection supplies as the second part of local humanitarian assistance following the support of a mobile water purification system in July.
In mid-December, we plan to deliver 1,900 sets of cold clothing (up and down), 10,000 pairs of cairo for shoes, and 80 items of winter clothing from Fire Bureau stockpiles.
