Greetings were given at the opening ceremony of the 58th International Tropical Wood board member held in Pacifico-yokohama.
The International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) is the only international organization headquartered in Yokohama. Having established close partnerships with ITTO for more than 30 years is a great asset and pride for Yokohama City.
We hope that ITTO's efforts for conservation and sustainable management of tropical forest resources will help resolve global issues, and as a member of the international community, will continue to work toward decarbonization and achievement of the SDGs.
