We greeted the opening ceremony of the Kanto Gakuin University Yokohama Kannai Campus, which was selected through open call for participants, with the aim of creating the core of the bustle and revitalization of Kannai and Kangai-District.
This new campus is very accessible, just a 2-minute walk from Kannai Station, and is a place for more than 3,000 students to learn, and has a hall, gallery, sports facilities and co-working spaces, making it a place for a wide range of people other than students to gather and interact.
I am very pleased and honored to have established a new base for development in Kannai and Kangai-District, the cornerstone of Yokohama's prosperity. We will continue to work hard on the development of Yokohama, which continues to create new vitality.
