With the aim of creating the core of the bustle and revitalization of Kannai and Kangai-District, I gave a greeting at the commemorative ceremony for the opening of the Kanto Gakuin University Yokohama Kannai Campus, which was selected by public offering.
This new campus is very accessible just a 2-minute walk from Kannai Station, making it a place for more than 3,000 students to learn, as well as a hall, gallery, sports facilities and co-working spaces, making it a place for a wide range of people other than students to gather and interact.
I am very pleased and honored to have a new base for development in Kannai and Kangai-District, the cornerstone of Yokohama's prosperity. We will continue to work hard on the development of Yokohama, which continues to create new vitality.
