The 71st Yokohama War Memorial Ceremony was held to mourn the war dead and renew their commitment to peace.
Considering the feelings and regrets of those who have lost their precious lives in distant foreign lands, the inexhaustible sadness comes to my heart. I would like to express my deepest respect to the hardships of the bereaved families who have overcome many difficulties from the deep sadness of losing their beloved immediate family.
As a "Peace Messenger City" certified by the United Nations, we have renewed our determination to do our utmost to realize a peaceful world.
