I met with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, who had been an assistant to Sadako Ogata, the first Japanese High Commissioner for Refugees Sadako Ogata, the first Japanese UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and introduced an exchange cafe for those who have evacuated from Ukraine.
Granddy expressed his gratitude for Yokohama City's support for Ukraine, and expressed his gratitude for Yokohama's support for Ukraine and expressed his hope that "the support of Yokohama will be used as a model for the entire country."
Going forward, we will continue to provide support to those who have evacuated from Ukraine and work with UNHCR and other international organizations to promote initiatives to contribute to international peace.
