The “Nenrin Pick Kanagawa 2022” general opening ceremony was held at Yokohama Arena, where the opening declaration and a monument lighting ceremony were held.
The venue, which was held for the first time in three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was filled with cheerful smiles from more than 11,000 athletes and coaches over 60 years old from prefectures and ordinance-designated cities nationwide.
