On Monday, October 31, the Nine Prefecture City Summit Meeting was held face-to-face for the first time in three years.
The chiefs of four prefectures (Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa) and five cities (Yokohama, Kawasaki, Chiba, Saitama, and Sagamihara) exchanged information on the current situation of COVID-19 and initiatives in each prefecture and city, and compiled a joint message to call for vaccination.
In addition, Yokohama City has compiled the opinions of nine prefectures regarding support for securing and retaining childcare human resources in order to further enhance childcare support, and will request the country.
Going forward, we will continue to work together with the nine prefectures to solve wide-area issues.
