How to obtain a family register certificate (copy of certificate of family register, certificate of partial family register, family register, ID, etc.)
You can get it at the ward office or the administrative service corner.
You can also apply by mail or online (only if you have a My Number card).
If a foreigner who is married to a Japanese person obtains a Japanese spouse's family register certificate, etc., please request it from the municipality where the spouse is located.
