How to obtain a family register certificate (copy of certificate of family register, certificate of partial family register, family register, ID card, etc.)

You can get it at the ward office or the administrative service corner.
In addition, application by mail or online (only for those who have a My Number card) is possible.
If a foreigner married to a Japanese person obtains a family register certificate, etc., please request it from the municipality where the spouse's domicile is located.
