[Contents of cooperation] In the event of an emergency, Water Works Bureau requests registered businesses to cooperate with the supply of essential materials. For essential materials, please supply materials to the extent that they can be supplied. (Under this system, there is no obligation to cooperate with supply.)
[Materials to be supplied] Water pipes, water supply pipes, fittings, water leakage prevention metal fittings, valves, etc.
[Main delivery locations] Water treatment plants, distribution reservoirs, Water Works Bureau government building, etc.

There are approximately 9,300 km of water pipes (water pipes) in the city. At present, the water pipes laid in the 1940s, we maintain a renewal pace of about 110 km per year, and replace them with earthquake-resistant water pipes.
However, the seismic retrofit rate of water pipes in the city at the end of 2021 was 30%, and it is not yet enough. For this reason, in the event of a disaster such as an earthquake disaster, a lot of damage is expected to occur to the water pipeline. In order to quickly recover these, it is assumed that a large number of materials to be used when repairing water pipelines will be required.
