Water quality inspection points

In order to deliver safe tap water to customers, we conduct water quality tests at points necessary for water quality management. In addition to water quality inspections at faucets, water quality inspection points are also set up at water purification plants that make tap water and water sources that incorporate the raw water, and water quality inspections are regularly conducted.

Faucet (water tap)

Once a month for each system, such as water purification plants and corporate water receiving water, we conduct water quality tests such as water quality standard items at faucets such as 15 parks in the city. .
In addition, for water quality inspection items to be conducted at least once a day based on the Water Supply Law, multiple points are selected for each water distribution system, and inspections are conducted at 43 locations.

Water purification plant

We conduct water quality tests for each process to confirm that the process management of water purification treatment is being carried out properly.

Water source

Since the water quality of the water source affects the water purification treatment, water quality tests are being conducted at the intake points of three water sources in Yokohama City (Doshi River system, Sagamiko system, Banyu River system) and upstream areas.
