About postponement of payment of water rate, sewerage system usage fee based on influence of new coronavirus infection (we stopped accepting on April 30, 2024.)

In Yokohama City, the “Living and Economic Measures Team” has been set up in the New Coronavirus Response Headquarters, and various measures are being compiled, but payment of water and sewerage usage fees (hereinafter referred to as “water rates, etc.”) Will be handled as follows.

Those who are eligible for the life welfare fund loan system (special loan for emergency small funds and comprehensive support funds), or those who have difficulty temporarily paying due to a significant decrease in income due to job separation.

For the time being, we will postpone the payment of water charges for up to four months for the time being.
(Example) Water rates for February and March, when the due date in April, will be deferred until the end of July.
