Environmental survey of the Shinmeidai disposal site

This page contains the results of environmental surveys conducted to confirm whether there is an environmental impact on the surrounding area due to the Shinmeidai disposal site.

Atmospheric environment survey

Air pollutants are measured at four locations: the northern site boundary of the Shinmeidai disposal site, the eastern site boundary, the southern and western site boundary of the disposal site.

Noise and vibration survey

Noise and vibration surveys are measured at four locations: the northern site boundary of the Shinmeidai disposal site, the eastern site boundary, the disposal site south side and west site boundary of the Shinmeidai disposal site. Measurements are taken for 12 hours at the northern site boundary and the east site boundary, and 24 hours on the south and west site boundaries of the disposal site.

Oodor survey

We measure odor index (concentration) and 22 odorous substances. Odor concentrations are measured at three locations in the summer (usually in late August) and winter (usually in late January), and 22 odorous substances are measured at two locations in winter (late January). You.

Groundwater Survey

Observation wells have been set up in the disposal site to measure items of groundwater environmental standards. Each item is measured once to four times a year, and the measurement results are shown as average annual values.

Dioxin Survey

We conduct dioxins surveys on air, soil, inflow and discharge water from wastewater treatment facilities, river water in surrounding river water, and groundwater from monitoring wells in disposal sites.
