Measurement status of radioactive material concentration and air dose at waste incineration plants
Last Updated September 14, 2023
Measurement results
- The survey was completed in March 2017 for exhaust gas, coagulated sediment sludge, reused water, and effluent, as the concentration of radioactive materials continued.
- Since the radioactive material concentration of the incinerated ash generated at the garbage incineration plant continues to be below 100 Bq / kg (the landfill standard set by the government is 8,000 Bq / kg), the measurement was completed in March 2019, together with the air dose.
Changes in the concentration of radioactive materials in main ash (total of Cs-134 and Cs-137)
Changes in radioactive material concentrations of fly ash (total of Cs-134 and Cs-137)
※The lower limit of quantification for Cs-134 and Cs-137 is 20Bq / kg. If the value is less than the lower limit of quantification, each value is added as 0Bq / kg.
