How to separate and put out

There are rules on how to put it out.
Follow the rules and use it correctly.
Please check the administrative collection and delivery methods differ depending on the item.

※From December 1, 2011, only "aluminum cans for food and beverages" and "steel cans for food and beverages" will be eligible for the incentive.


How to put out "recycle paper"

Please serve it to your local local recyclables collection. (If you do not know the date of collection, please check the blue sticker attached to the collection site or contact the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau office of each ward.)
※"recycle paper" can be served even on rainy days.

※From the viewpoint of recycling, newspapers and magazines are used to use paper strings and paper bags as much as possible to avoid contamination of anything other than paper. If you do not have a paper string or paper bag at hand, tie it with a vinyl string.

Magazines and other paper

Magazine
Weekly magazines, manga books, specialized magazines, single books, encyclopedias, textbooks, catalogs, etc.
Please tie it together with a string.

※Remove appendixes other than paper and cover other than paper such as skin, cloth, vinyl, etc., and put it out as "burnable garbage".


Other paper
Packaging paper, brochures, notepads, shredded paper, paper boxes for sweets, receipts, paper bags, etc.
Paper other than newspapers, magazines, corrugated cardboard, and paper packs
Put it in a paper bag (if not, a transparent or translucent bag that allows you to clearly check the contents) and tie it with a string to prevent the contents from coming out.

Notice

The following may interfere with recycling.

Please do not serve as "recycle paper" but as "burnable garbage".

Heat-sensitive foam paper (paper used for Braille, etc.)

Dirty paper (used tissue paper, pizza boxes, etc.)

Silver paper, paper pack with aluminum inside.

Vinyl coating paper (the vinyl part remains unbreakable when cut by hand),

Carbon paper, printing paper (iron printing paper, etc.),

Paper containers for cup noodles, yogurt and ice cream.

Fold it and tie it with a string.

・Rinse with water, cut open, and dry.

[Cloths]

Cloths

  • Please put out the laundry and dry items in a transparent or translucent bag where you can clearly see the contents. Do not put it in a paper bag or the like.
  • Please serve the used cloth not to get wet. Don't put out used cloth on rainy days.
    The wet used cloth cannot be reused.
    Have you put it out on the next collection day? "collection box for recyclables,"Please use it.
  • Check the contents of your pocket carefully and take it out so that there is no foreign matter in the used cloth.
    If foreign substances are mixed in, it will interfere with reuse, etc.

[Metals]

Metals

Separate aluminum cans and steel cans properly, wash the inside with water, crush, and put them in a bag.
Please note that how to put out is different from cans, bottles, and PET bottles collected by the city.
