How to separate and put out

There are rules for how to put it out.
Follow the rules and use them correctly.
Please check the administrative collection and disposal method vary depending on the item.

※From December 1, 2011, only "aluminum cans for food and beverage" and "steel cans for food and beverage" will be eligible for the incentive.


How to put out recycle paper

Please send it to local recyclables collection in your area. (If you do not know the date of collection, please check the blue sticker affixed to the collection site or contact the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau office in each ward.)
※"recycle paper" can be served even on rainy days.

※From the viewpoint of promoting recycling, newspapers and magazines use paper strings and paper bags as much as possible to avoid mixing anything other than paper. If you do not have a paper string or paper bag at hand, tie it with a vinyl string.

Magazines and other papers

Magazine
Weekly magazines, manga books, specialized magazines, books, books, encyclopedias, textbooks, catalogs, etc.
Please tie it together with a string.

※Please remove appendixes other than paper and cover other than paper such as skin, cloth, vinyl, etc. and put them out as burnable garbage.


Other paper
Packaging paper, brochures, notepads, shredded paper, paper boxes for sweets, receipts, paper bags, etc.
Paper other than newspapers, magazines, cardboard, and paper packs
Put it in a paper bag (if not, a transparent or translucent bag that allows you to clearly check the contents) and tie it with a string to prevent the contents from coming out.

Notice

The following items may interfere with recycling.

Please put it out as "burnable garbage" instead of "recycle paper".

Heat-sensitive foam paper (paper that rises when heated to be used in Braille, etc.)

Dirty paper (used tissue paper, pizza box, etc.)

Silver paper, paper pack with aluminum inside.

Vinyl coated paper (when cut by hand, the vinyl part remains without tearing),

Back carbon paper, printed paper (iron-printed paper, etc.),

Cup noodle paper container, yogurt ice cream paper container, etc.

Paper containers for detergents and individual soap wrapping paper

Cardboard

Please fold it and tie it with a string.

Cloth

  • Please put the laundry and dry in a transparent or translucent bag where the contents can be clearly confirmed. Do not put it in paper bags.
  • Please give used cloth not to get wet. Don't leave used cloth on a rainy day.
    Wet used cloth cannot be reused.

  • Carefully check the contents of your pocket and make sure that there is no foreign matter in used cloth.

Metals

Separate aluminum cans and steel cans properly, wash the inside with water, crush it and put it in a bag.
Please note that the way to put out is different from cans, bottles, and PET bottles collected by the city.
