The area around Niiba Station is located in the city center of Shin-Yokohama in the comprehensive plan "Yumehama 2010 Plan".

In this area, land use is mainly for factories, warehouses, and transportation-related facilities, but in recent years, land use has changed due to the relocation of factories and the location of apartment houses as infrastructure development progresses. I am.
Therefore, in Yokohama City, together with the local council, we are examining the creation of a city suitable as a part of the city center of Shin-Yokohama.

In April 1996, a building agreement was concluded in the first district (approximately 10ha), and in January 2001, a district plan was formulated.
