Tsurumi 1-chome area (the site of the Kagetsuen Bicycle Racetrack)

 In the Tsurumi 1-chome area (the site of the Kagetsuen Bicycle Racecourse, which was abolished in March 2010, and the site of an adjacent private company's house), development companies such as the UR Urban Organization are usingevacuation area during normal times.
 At 10:00 on November 1, 2021, the district park "Tsurumi Kagetsuen Park" opened.

1 Overview

 In response to the abolition of the bicycle race business in March 2010, the site of the Kagetsuen Bicycle Racetrack, which is close to Kagetsu Sojiji Station (Keikyu Main Line) in Tsurumi Ward, we established a study group organized by Kanagawa Prefecture to study their utilization.
 Summary of the results of the study meeting ※In 1, it is desirable to integrally improve the surface, including the site of a private company's house adjacent to the site of the bicycle race track, and the Disaster Prevention Park Block Development Project, which is led by the Urban Renaissance Agency (UR) as the main business entity. ※It was shown to be in the direction of 2. Based on this report, we are promoting integrated maintenance with district parks and adjacent residential areas.
 In addition, in the development, along with the disaster prevention park block development project, the residential urban area comprehensive maintenance project, which is a subsidy project of the government, along with the national disaster prevention park block development project. ※I'm using 3.

 Based on the site of the bicycle race track, it is desirable to integrally improve the surface, including the site of an idle private company house.
[Direction of Utilization]
 (1) Town development policy
  ・Ensuring a certain scale of open space with disaster prevention functions that can contribute to the creation of green conservation
  ・In the area close to the station, the function is appropriate for the station square.
 (2) Business method, business entity
  The direction of the disaster prevention park block development project in which the Urban Renaissance Agency is the main business entity

※2 What is the Disaster Prevention Park Block Development Project?
It is business to promote maintenance of park and maintenance of city area integrally. Urban Renaissance Agency becomes business entity and performs maintenance such as park or residential land, and Yokohama-shi manages maintenance about maintained park.

※3 What is the Residential Urban Area Comprehensive Development Project?
 It is a business that comprehensively performs maintenance such as houses, maintenance of public facilities, etc. in order to create a comfortable living environment, update urban functions, and regenerate local living functions in existing urban areas.
 In maintenance such as ruins of Kagetsuen bicycle race track, Yokohama-shi devises maintenance plan, and Urban Renaissance Agency carries out business based on the maintenance plan. About road and green tract of land, open space, water and sewage maintained by this business, we can receive assistance from country for the maintenance costs.
