About the use of Tsurumi Kagetsuen Park

Overview of Tsurumi Kagetsuen Park
It is a large park in Tsurumi Ward for the first time in about 40 years, with a total area of about 4.5 hectares.
Located on a hill, the park overlooking the Bay Bridge and Minato Mirai has a lawn field, a plaza with playground equipment, and health equipment.
During the Taisho period, Kagetsuen Amusement Park, which was said to be the best amusement park in the East, was opened and was very busy. After that, after the transition of the Kagetsuen Bicycle Racecourse, etc., it has become a place where everyone can enjoy as a park.

Pass route to Tsurumi Kagetsuen Park
From October 24, 2022, the sidewalk space in front of the park, which had been closed for construction, will be accessible.
We are continuing construction around the park. Please refer to the following precautions when visiting the park.
- There is no parking in the park. Please use public transportation.
- In the park, please get off your bicycle and pass. Please use the bicycle storage area when visiting the park.

- About 15 minutes on foot from JR Tsurumi Station
- About 5 minutes on foot from Keikyu Kagetsu Sojiji Station.
- Get off at the Yokohama Municipal Bus Line 38, 41, Tofuku-ji Temple, about 5 minutes on foot.
- Kawasaki Tsurumi Rinko Bus River 50 system, Tsuru 01.02.03.04.05.06.12 system "Nihongi", about 15 minutes on foot

Notes on the Use of Parks
- Let's take the trash home.
- The owner is responsible for taking the dog's dung home.
- You can't ride a car or motorcycle.

How to use Oharappa
What is Active Use?
Due to the location close to Tsurumi Station, which is the gateway to the city, and the scale of being the third largest in the city, Tsurumi Kazukien Park is "a park where all Tsurumi residents gather, relax, and work, and get close to each other. We work on "active use" in everybody including inhabitant of a ward and ward office so that it becomes.
The use of the park can be broadly divided into two types: "free use" and "use that requires permission". In general, those that temporarily monopolize part or all of the park, such as Bon Odori, are referred to as "Act Permission Application "is required.
In order to promote "active use", we will make the following efforts.
Requirements for activities that are actively used
All inhabitants of the ward can participate.
- Activities that are consistent with the business promoted by the ward and activities that contribute to solving problems in the ward.
- Activities sponsored by inhabitants of the ward, students, Neighborhood Association, local organizations, etc. that have public interest
Efforts to promote active use
For activities that meet the requirements, we will implement the following measures.
About organizations that can carry out "acts that require permission"
As a general rule, for activities performed by organizations that have not been recognized, if they meet the "requirements for active use", they will be permitted.
About reduction of taxes
If the act performed by "other applicants (other than various administrative agencies, schools, residents' association neighborhood associations, etc.)" conforms to the "requirements for activities that will be actively used", reduction of taxes will be implemented.

Prior consultation
If you are considering conducting an "active use activity", please consult us in advance.
For consultation, please contact Ward Administration Promotion Division by [6 to 3 months before the scheduled implementation date]. From the examination stage, we will work together to confirm the requirements for activities and the confirmation of required items to realize the project.
After that, when the contents of the plan are finalized and the documents to be submitted are ready, apply for permission to act.

Application for permission to act related to "active use activities"
When the contents of the project are finalized and the documents to be submitted are ready, please submit the following documents to Public Works Office by [1.5 months prior to the scheduled date].
If the documents you have submitted are complete, Ward Administration Promotion Division will submit the documents to Public Works Office.

Maximum usage
In order to be used by as many people as possible, it is as follows.
- The use of Ohara is one individual or one group per day.
- It will be used only once a month per group.
Notes on the use of Tsurumi Kagetsuen Park
- Because we perform construction such as roads around the park, we cannot carry in by vehicle to park.
- Please contact us immediately for cancellation after permission to act.
- For activities that require the understanding of the neighbors, such as the performance of the event, the applicant must make advance adjustments.
- Do not use the place for any purpose other than the purpose of use.
- Please be careful not to disturb other park users and nearby residents.
- Pay close attention to safety management, and in the unlikely event of an accident, handle it at your own risk.
- For garbage generated at events, etc., the applicant should take it home with responsibility.
- After use at events, etc., please restore the original condition.
- There is no parking in the park. Please use public transportation.

How to use the multi-purpose open space
The operation of the multi-purpose open space is carried out by the Management Committee.
For inquiries regarding the use of the multi-purpose open space, please contact the Management Committee Secretariat below.
There are two ways to use it: "priority use" and "free use".
For priority use, reservations must be made at the Management Committee Secretariat. If you do not have a reservation, please refrain from using the priority slot. For reservations for priority use slots, see How to Use Priority Reservations.
Free use time is available without reservation. Please use it by all means.

How to use priority reservations for multi-purpose open spaces
In order to use the multi-purpose open space in the priority use frame, group registration, use application, and use procedure at the Management Committee Secretariat are required. Specifically, please see "about priority reservation use method of multipurpose open space" (PDF: 295KB).
The application period for the use request notification is from the 1st of the month before the desired month to the last day of the month before the desired month.
Notes on the Use of Multipurpose Plaza
Please note the following points when using the multi-purpose open space.
In priority use, the leader or responsible person of the group must inform the group of the notes.
- In order to use the priority usage frame, it is necessary to register a user group and apply for use in advance.
- In the case of priority use, please confirm the safety in the plaza at the start of use and at the end of use, and contact the Management Committee Secretariat of the confirmation result. Do not use it if safety cannot be confirmed.
- In the case of priority use, please do not use it for any purpose other than notification.
- Please observe the usage time and prepare, clean up, and clean within the usage time.
- Take the garbage home.
- If facilities, equipment, etc. are damaged or lost, please restore the current situation.
