Purpose of Business

 In the area around East Exit Tsunashima Station, improvement of transportation infrastructure such as buses and taxis and pedestrian environments is required, and urban planning roads are undeveloped, causing chronic traffic congestion.
 Urban redevelopment projects implemented in an integrated manner with the land readjustment project (city enforcement) following the decision of a new station on the Sotetsu / Tokyu Direct Line in this area in October 2012, along with the development of new stations, will promote rational and sound advanced use of land and resolve issues in the area around East Exit at Tsunashima Station.

May 2014: Establishment of New Tsunashima Station Area Redevelopment Preparatory Meeting (same as the Preparatory Meeting for Town Planning around Shin-Tsunashima Station Area and Tsunashima East Exit Station Area Redevelopment Preparatory Meeting)
December 2014: Establishment of New Tsunashima Station Area Urban Redevelopment Preparatory Association
September 2016: Shin-Tsunashima Station Area Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project City Planning Decision
November 2018: Shin-Tsunashima Ekimae District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project Business Plan Decision (approved union establishment)
November 2020: Construction of the first-class urban redevelopment project in front of Shin-Tsunashima Station Area
October 2023: New Tsunashima Station Area Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project Facility Construction completed
March 2024: Opening of the “Kohoku Kumin Cultural Center (Miskey Hall)” in the facility building
