About 45% of land ownership, state-owned land and private land, and municipal land accounts for about 10%. About 45% of private land of the district has been used as a US military facility, and land use has been restricted for about 70 years. For this reason, we are formulating a future land use plan (formerly Kamiseya communication facility land use basic plan) while asking landowners and citizens for their opinions.

■Agricultural promotion district
Experience harvesting agricultural products in cooperation with bustling facilities, farming experience where you can enjoy the charm of agriculture while staying, stable production of high-quality agricultural products using ICT, etc., and development of `` highly profitable agriculture '' through direct sales outlets, etc. Form a base that will become a new urban agriculture model that spreads to other regions, such as research on agricultural technology in cooperation with universities.
■Sightseeing and bustling district
A complex customer-acquiring facility centered on a theme park will be established, forming a base for sightseeing and liveliness that attracts people from Japan and abroad.
■Logistics Area
Taking advantage of the proximity to wide-area arterial roads such as the Tomei Expressway and the Hodogaya Bypass, we will form a new base for efficient domestic logistics utilizing new technologies.
■Parks and disaster prevention districts
It will form a park that inherits the Legacy of the International Horticultural Exposition and a wide-area disaster prevention base in the event of a disaster (facilities and functions as a wide-area support base necessary for receiving firefighting, police, SDF, etc., and functions as evacuation area) (The park is being considered by the Decarbonization / GREEN x EXPO Promotion Bureau Kamiseya Park Maintenance Section).
※In addition to the four districts, we plan roads, regulating ponds, new traffic and transportation facilities such as new interchanges.

About land readjustment project of former Kami-Seya communication facility district

In the former Kami-Seya Communication Facility Area, private land, national land, and municipal land are mixed in a vast land of about 248.5ha. Relocation according to the parcel of use and maintenance of urban infrastructure such as roads are necessary. Since it is essential to carry out large-scale land use conversions and reflecting the intentions of about 250 landowners, we are promoting business through Yokohama City enforcement. You.

  • Private landowners in the former Kami-Seya Communication Facility District share the issues of the district and share opinions with each other on the way of land use in the area to form consensus.
  • We perform land use examination and decision making as main body of town development and promote "good production base and vitality agriculture promotion" and "safe, comfortable and attractive town development".
