In Yokohama City, a subsidy project will be implemented for charging facilities installed in apartment to promote the spread of next-generation vehicles such as electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
※Subsidies are not available for maintenance of ordinary charging equipment in a detached house.

We will start accepting subsidies for charging equipment installation costs such as electric vehicles for apartment in Yokohama City on August 20, 2024.

Application period

From Tuesday, August 20, 2024 to Friday, February 14, 2025
※It is necessary to submit a grant application and performance report by March 28, 2025 (Friday).
※If the subsidy budget (3,000,000 yen) is reached, the application will be closed before the deadline.
※Subsidiary projects started after April 1, 2024 are eligible. The start date is the delivery date of the charging equipment.

※If possible, please apply after receiving a grant decision from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

（１） Those who own Residential Association and apartment in apartment, etc.
（２） With the permission of (1), lease companies, car-sharing companies, etc. that install facilities to be subsidized and own them, with the permission of (1).

EV charging facilities installed in apartment in Yokohama and used by residents of the housing.
※Installed in a parking lot belonging to apartment for basic charging.
※It must be unused and subject to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry subsidy.

Subsidiary upper limit

One half of the amount excluding the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry subsidy and Kanagawa subsidy from the purchase cost and installation cost of charging equipment (excluding consumption tax).
However, the maximum amount per unit is 5 units per apartment, and the maximum amount per unit is stated in (1) and (2).
