About leased land park system

The leased land park system is a system in which Yokohama City, a park manager, borrows title pertaining to land properties under a lease agreement with the landowner and establishes a city park for the maintenance of parks and green spaces stipulated in the City Parks Law.
Yokohama City will utilize this system to secure sites such as block parks. I would like cooperation to create familiar park in life of citizen's all of you.

Designated Criteria

For land that meets the following conditions, we will conclude a lease agreement for leased land park.

  1. Land area of 500 square meters or more. However, this does not apply if it is adjacent to a park that has already been released.
  2. Those who have a lease contract of 20 years or more.

Preferential treatment for land owners

  1. Property tax and city planning tax on contracted land will be reduced.
  2. Inheritance tax will be reduced by 40% due to taxation. However, land with an area of less than 500 m2 is not eligible.
