The council is made up of related administrative organizations and related organizations, and promotes comprehensive and effective traffic safety measures, including the annual traffic safety movement, in close cooperation.
In Yokohama, the Yokohama City Traffic Safety Measures Council, where the Road and Highway Bureau became the secretariat, has created an annual traffic safety campaign plan for the city and is developing a traffic safety campaign in the city area.
In addition, based on the annual traffic safety movement plan, the Traffic Safety Measures Council of each ward promotes the traffic safety movement while incorporating regional characteristics.
