4th: September 16, 2021

・Based on the results of the fireflies' habitat (Children's Nature Park) conducted in June, a field survey of Naka Horikawa (near Shirane Fudoson) was conducted.
・While checking the conditions of seawalls and riverbeds, Cody Nae
 Turkey explained to the project participants.
・After the on-site confirmation, in order to resolve these issues, we decided to implement a small-scale nature restoration activity next time.

3rd: July 26, 2021

・This time, teachers from nearby elementary schools also participated and talked about "cooperation activities with nearby elementary schools" and "nature maintenance methods that can be implemented in Naka-Horikawa".
 I did it.
・Regarding collaborative activities with nearby elementary schools, teachers will talk about activities that they would like to carry out as environmental learning, and this project.
 We talked about how we can get involved and what we can do.
・Regarding the nature maintenance methods that can be implemented in Naka-Horikawa, there are places where the environmental conditions for fireflies habitat have already been set, so such parcels are expanded.
 We decided to proceed with the project in this direction.

2nd: June 16, 2021

・Naka Horikawa is also home to valuable creatures such as Hotokedo Loach and Japanese Freshwater Crab. So
 For this reason, we have created an environment where not only fireflies but also those creatures can easily live.
 There was an opinion that going could be a goal for the activity.
・Next time, we will talk about nature maintenance methods that can be implemented in Naka Horikawa.

1st: May 6, 2021

・As a result of discussions on this project name, it became "Operation Team for the Future of Naka Horikawa".
・The coordinator (aquatic organism experts) who will be newly participating this time, will discuss the firefly life cycle of fireflies and the middle
 He explained the possibility of fireflies inhabiting in Horikawa.
・Regarding the water quality and water temperature of Naka Horikawa (the area near Shirane Fudoson), it was said that no problems were found in this season. However, firefly spawning grounds
 It seems that there are few places and hatching, so it may be necessary to create a new place.
・Next time, we will observe the environment of the Children's Nature Park, where Genji fireflies actually live, and investigate the differences from Naka Horikawa's environment.
