Among Japanese macaques that make flocks in mountainous areas outside the city, young males and others may leave the flock and move to Yokohama city.
Until now, there have been no reports of monkeys harming humans in the city, but if you see monkeys, please observe the following and respond calmly.

1 Do not feed.
2 Do not chase carelessly and hunt down.
It is dangerous to get closer and get excited. Leave the place so that you don't look at it, don't panic slowly, and don't show your back.
4 Be careful not to open windows so that they do not enter the house.
