Latest sightings: At around 18:00 on Thursday, December 19, 2024, there was sighting information of one wild boar near 4-chome Azamino, Aoba-ku, Yokohama-shi.
If you see a wild boar, be aware of the following and respond calmly. .
Points to note when you see a wild boar
1 Do not approach, shout, or meet your eyes.
2 Do not threaten or try to get rid of it.
It's dangerous to get excited. Leave the place so that you don't panic slowly and don't show your back.
4 Don't give food.
Many wild boar accidents occur with extreme excitement, such as forcibly trying to capture, hitting with sticks, throwing stones, and barking dogs. In particular, wild boars that have been excited once need attention because they have the property of relentlessly attacking people and dogs.
