Q

If the street light bulb is cut, where should I contact?

Last Updated November 8, 2024

A

Street lights installed on general roads in Yokohama City include "road lights", "LED security lights", "security lights", "shopping street lights", etc. depending on their purpose.

Road lighting is managed by the Public Works Office, LED security lights are managed by the anti-crime program Support Division in the Civic Affairs Bureau area, and other security lights are managed by local Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations, and local shopping associations.

Please contact the Public Works Office of the ward if you have broken or broken "road lighting" managed by Yokohama City. In addition, at the time of communication, a management slip with the Yokohama City Kisho (Hama Mark) is affixed to the "Road Light", so please let us know the management number, the location of the installation location, and the target. In addition, please contact the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) for road lighting on national roads managed by the government, security lights in Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations for security lights, and stores that are members of the shopping association for shopping streetlights.
