Yokohama City Kisho
Kisho Yokohama was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the port in 1909 (Meiji 42), and was designed with two characters of Hama. The announcement was June 5 of the same year, the geology is white and the emblem is red.

Flower of city "rose"
The rose of Yokohama City was established by citizens on September 23, 1989 (Heisei 1) as a symbol of creating Yokohama full of flowers and greenery. Many Western roses are said to have landed in Japan from Yokohama, which has just opened, and have been popular with citizens for more than a century.
