Yokohama City Kisho
Yokohama Kisho was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the port in 1909 (Meiji 42), and was designed with the two letters of Hama. The announcement was on June 5 of the same year, with the geology is white and the emblem is red.

Flower of the city "Rose"
The flower "Rose" of Yokohama City was established by citizens on September 23, 1989 as a symbol to create Yokohama full of flowers and greenery. Many Western roses are said to have landed in Japan from Yokohama, which has just opened, and have been popular with citizens for more than a century.
