Ring Route 3 (Tozuka area)

 Ring Route 3 (Tozuka area) is conducting business from the Naganuma area on the east to the west. In March 2004, a section that crossed the JR Tokaido Line and the Kashio River from the 3 Naganuma Intersection of Sakae Ward Numa-cho was completed. After the opening of 850m to the Hinode Bridge intersection in July 2004, approximately 1,300m of the main line, including the remaining 450m, was opened in March 2022.

 In 2023, a part of the mounting road will be opened (PDF: 1,396KB), and we will continue to maintain communication stairs and incidental work.

Maintenance effect
  • Improvement of traffic convenience and safety by strengthening the urban planning road network
    • By integrated with the adjacent Minami Tozuka and Gumizawa districts, Ring Route 3 will be connected to National Route 1 and the traffic function in the southern part of the city will be strengthened.
  • Optimizing traffic flow
    • Passing traffic that has entered the surrounding residential area can be converted to Loop Route 3, and traffic flow can be properly processed.
