Usage Guide for Event Space at JR Sakuragicho-sta. Plaza

We are looking for the use of event space that utilizes JR Sakuragicho-sta. Square for the purpose of creating bustle in the city and promoting conventions, revitalizing the local economy, properly using roads, and securing financial resources for road maintenance management fee. .

Outline of Conditions for Use (Refer to Documents 2 and 3)

●Events and Advertisements
 Considering the aesthetics and public nature of the surrounding area.
 ・"Yokohama City Advertising Guidelines" and
 ・"Yokohama City Advertising Standards"
Comply with the purpose of the Town Planning Basic Agreement (outside site) established by the general incorporated association Yokohama Minato Mirai 21.
 ※About "Yokohama-shi insertion summary" and "Yokohama-shi insertion standard", please confirm list of advertisement-related regulations.

●Pedestrian Safety Measures
 Please take sufficient safety measures such as preventing the danger of pedestrians and ensuring safe and smooth traffic.

●Please be sure to check the usage guide (Document 2) and usage guidelines (Document 3).
 ※We are not allowed to sell products.
 ※In principle, live performances are not allowed.

●Event fee
 The event fee is the total amount of road occupancy fee and advertising fee.
 Please refer to the price list (Document 4).
 About amount of road private use charges, it is established in Yokohama-shi road private use charges regulations. For the latest amount, please refer to Private Use Fees.

Application acceptance (Refer to Document 5)

It will be accepted up to one month before the date of use.
Please note that applications after a month cannot be accepted.
The application form will be accepted upon submission of the application form.
Please note that reservations for the schedule are not available.

FAQs

[Question 1] Is it possible to provide food and drink?
  Sampling does not include merchandise sales, but a separate permit for food hygiene is required. 
  Also, when using a generator or kitchen car, you may need to notify the fire department, so check with the fire department.

[Question 2] Is it possible to carry out an event with sales?
  Sales in the event space are not available.

[Question 3] Is it possible to perform live music?
  In principle, live performances in the event space are not allowed.

[Question 4] I would like to hold a multi-day event. Is it possible to hold a tent or the like (outside of use)?
  As a general rule, tents cannot be permanently installed, so please install and remove each time.
  If permanent installation is required, you will need to surround the area around the event area and have a security guard.

[Question 5] Is it possible to rent a power supply or drainage system?
  There is no power supply or drainage system in the event space.

[Question 6] Is it possible to carry in and remove before and after the event is available (8:00 to 22:00)?
  Please respond within the available time for both installation and removal.

[Question 7] Is it possible to get a vehicle into the event space?
  Vehicles can weigh up to 4t, but if it exceeds 2t, road surface curing by comparing it is necessary to cure the road surface.
  Vehicles are not allowed to enter from 7:00 to 9:00 on weekdays. Also, please get in the vehicle by 8 o'clock on holidays.

[Question 8] Is it possible to postpone the event due to a typhoon or other reasons?
  If the event is canceled due to force majeure, a transfer date can be set within three months.
