About naming rights business in road facilities

 In Yokohama City, we carry out naming rights projects in road facilities with the aim of securing road maintenance and management resources and providing local activities and social contributions to private business groups.
 The proceeds from this project are used as road maintenance management fee.

Shin-Yokohama Station North Exit Pedestrian Bridge

From Friday, September 27, Reiwa 6 to Thursday, December 12, Reiwa 6

(1) Pre-Confirmation Period
   From Friday, September 27, 2024 to 5:00 pm on Monday, October 28, 2024

※Regarding sponsor merit, the structure and safety of pedestrian bridges, traffic and road management viewpoints, road law, compliance with various laws and regulations such as road occupation permission standards, Yokohama City Outdoor Advertising Ordinance, Yokohama City Landscape Plan, City Planning Consultation Guidelines, etc. We will confirm in advance the compliance with landscape regulations, the impact on the surrounding area, the validity of the name display, etc.


(2) Deadline for Response to Pre-Confirmed Items
   Until 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 28, 2024

(3) Application acceptance period
   From Friday, November 29, Reiwa 6 to Thursday, December 12, 1996 to 5:00 pm (must arrive)

About nickname

You can give a nickname to the pedestrian bridge.
(1) The nickname can include either the sponsor's company name (including the store name) or product name, etc., and the company logo (*), but it is not possible to mark a message such as a slogan or only a logo mark etc. .

※In principle, corporate logos are registered trademarks to which the sponsor company has the right. For details, please refer to the application guidelines “5 Nicknames Grant” (PDF: 434KB).

Sponsor merit

(1) Marking the nickname

You can mark the nickname you have named on the pedestrian bridge. The following four methods are available.

・Marking on the main digit

・Marks in the high column

・Signs to the stairs

・Mark by flag ※The marking period is limited.


(2) Other than the mark of the nickname

You can propose sponsor merits other than the labeling of the nickname.

・Advertisement posted on the inner wall of the elevator

・Others


※About suggestion of sponsor merit, we decide whether or not to adopt based on examination in naming rights introduction study meeting that Yokohama-shi establishes, result of citizen opinion offer.
 For details on the proposal conditions, etc., be sure to check the application guidelines “6 Sponsor Merit” (PDF: 434KB) and Attachment 2 “Sponsor Merit” (PDF: 1,061KB).
 Please confirm in advance the details of the sponsor benefits you plan to propose.

Terms and Conditions

  • Please propose the contract fee from the applicant.

※The decision will be made based on the results of the review of the validity of the amount at the Naming Rights Introduction Study Group.

  • The contract period shall be 5 years or more and 20 years or less in principle, and the expiration date of the contract shall be March 31.
  • Please make a proposal to contribute to the community.
