Property that can be occupied by roads

Last Updated August 3, 2021

Roads are originally used for general traffic, such as vehicles and pedestrians.
On the other hand, with the development of various activities based on roads, the need to use roads for purposes other than the original purpose is born. Typical examples are the installation of telephone poles, burial of water and gas pipes, and protruding signs.
In this way, private use of roads refers to establishing certain structures, properties and facilities on the road other than the original purpose, and using the road continuously.
In order to occupy the road, a road occupation permit is required, and a private use fee is collected from those who have permitted private use.
