Problems and Backgrounds of Living Roads
Although the number of fatalities from traffic accidents has decreased significantly, traffic accidents on residential roads have a small rate of decrease, and many accidents have occurred on nearby roads within 500m from homes. There is a strong need to promote traffic safety measures.
Familiar roads around homes should be used according to everyday life, such as shopping and pick-up and drop-off, but there are many cars that use the way at a fast speed of 40, 50 km / h, and pedestrians and bicycles Is increasing the risk of accidents when passing on a daily basis.
According to data, when a person and a car collide, if the speed of a car exceeds 30 km, the mortality rate will increase sharply, and in order to reduce serious accidents, the speed of a car on a living road will be 30 km / h or less It is important to keep it below.
For this reason, in cooperation with the government, we are working on traffic safety measures for residential roads utilizing ETC 2.0 Big Data.

What is ETC2.0 Big Data?
This is a system that can collect behavior data (sudden deceleration, sudden steering), speed, and route data as data on expressways' automatic toll collection and actual driving vehicles.
The data is owned by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and by receiving the data, data such as speed and route can be obtained, and issues in the district can be quantitatively analyzed.
