Problems and backgrounds of residential roads

Although the number of fatalities from traffic accidents has decreased significantly, the rate of decrease in traffic accidents on residential roads, and many accidents have occurred on nearby roads within 500m from homes. Promotion of traffic safety measures is strongly required.
Familiar roads around your home should be used according to your daily life, such as shopping and pick-up, but many cars use a loophole at a fast speed of 40, 50 km / h, and pedestrians and bicycles are on a daily basis. The risk of accidents is increasing when passing through.
There are data that if the speed of the car exceeds 30 km when a person and a car collides, the mortality rate rises sharply, and in order to reduce serious accidents, the speed of the car on residential roads should be less than 30 km / h or less Is important.
For this reason, in cooperation with the government, we are working on traffic safety measures for residential roads using ETC2.0 Big Data.
