Message from the Executive Committee in 2024

In 2024, we received a message from the members of the executive committee for those who want to become the executive committee for the next fiscal year.

  • I would like people who are worried because they are not confident in themselves to do it. The time when I was not confident continued, but through the activities of the executive committee, I repeated discussions with members of the same age and created a large-scale ceremony with many members of society, including the staff of the city hall. The experience was a great confidence for me.
  • I don't think it's easy to experience going up to the stage at a big venue and talking, so I'd like you to try it!
  • I had a valuable experience of being involved in the largest coming-of-age ceremony in Japan, and I felt my growth in that.
  • If you think you are interested in it, please apply. There should be situations where you can make use of your individual power in some way. This is a ceremony created in cooperation with all members. If you want to act for others, please take on the challenge!
  • You can have the following experience!

"I can feel the joy of taking our thoughts into shape."
"We all have fun working toward one goal."
"I like Yokohama more through the creation of commemorative booklets, etc."
"You can learn manners as a member of society."
"I can host the ceremony on the day and make a 20-year-old oath."
"I can teach professionals how to thank and speak."

  • I recommend it for the following people.

"People who want to be proud of the milestone of 20 years old"
"People who want to play an active part for 20-year-old citizens" and "People who want to act for others"
"A person who can clearly see the image of wanting to be like this through the committee."
"People who can speak at meetings"
"People who want to be deeply involved in the ceremony as an organizer"
"People who want to create a ceremony with friends born and raised in the same city of Yokohama."
