An apple shelf
In the corner of the children's book at the Kanagawa Library, there is an "apple shelf" that collects materials for children with special needs.
It began in the Swedish library in 1993 with the aim of making all children aware of the joy of reading, and has spread throughout the world.
- A large book
- LL book (a book of knowledge written in easy-to-understand pictures and pictures)
- Sign language book
- Braille book (a book that enjoys touching)
- Picture book without letters (books fun to see)
I have it. Please also see the list of books on apple shelves (PDF: 264KB).
The apple mark is a landmark.
