Apple shelves
In the corner of the children's book corner of the Kanagawa Library, there is an "apple shelves" that collects materials for children with special needs.
It began in 1993 in a Swedish library and has spread around the world with the aim of making all children aware of the fun of reading.
- A book in large letters
- LL book (a book of knowledge written in an easy-to-understand manner with photographs and pictures)
- Sign language book
- Books in Braille (a book that enjoys touching)
- Picture books without letters (books that are fun to see)
It's on it. Please also see the list of books on apple shelves (PDF: 257KB).
The apple mark is a landmark.
