Yokohama Architecture Tour
Last Updated August 1, 2024
The Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall, which is known as one of the three towers of Yokohama, will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2017. Also, Hotel New Grand, a landmark in front of Yamashita Park, is celebrating its 90th anniversary.
In addition to the architecture that celebrates these milestones, you will visit a variety of architectures, such as the Yokohama Yamate Church, which was lost in the Great Kanto Earthquake, and the Yokohama Shokin Bank, which now has become a museum. I would like to introduce some postcards depicting the buildings of Yokohama.
In the digital archive, you can see high-definition images.
