About reduction of taxes of property tax, city planning tax

When there are difficult circumstances in paying city tax, such as when you are in a disaster or receiving livelihood assistance, you may be able to receive a reduction in property tax and city planning tax depending on the situation.

1. Fields that have been significantly reduced due to disasters or unseasonable weather
2. Land and houses related to property tax and city planning tax to be paid by those who receive livelihood assistance according to the provisions of the Livelihood Protection Act
3. Fixed assets that require a reduction in taxes due to public interest or other reasons
   (Example: fixed assets damaged by disaster)

In order to receive the tax exemption, it is necessary to submit a tax exemption application to the ward office Tax Division land and house charge where the assets are located.
