Overview of online application for tax certification (smartphone application)
You can apply for a tax certificate online. Since the tax certificate you have applied for will be sent by mail, you do not need to visit the ward office. Please use it.
(From March 22, 2023, the online application for tax certification (smartphone application) has been changed from operation using the "Graffer Smart Application System" to operation using the Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System.)
- For application, it is necessary to perform user registration of Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system.
- If you are a corporation, you can apply only from a personal computer.
Eligible certificates
- Municipal tax, prefectural tax, forest environmental tax tax (non-taxable) certificate
- Tax payment certificate
- Certificate of property tax (evaluation certificate, public dues certificate)
Those who can apply
- Individuals who own My Number Card (a digital certificate for signature is valid)
- Digital certificates based on commercial registration (outside site)A corporation that owns a corporation
Please note that applications cannot be made from proxy/agent or third parties.
Necessary items (individuals)
My Number Card
The digital certificate for signature must be valid. When applying, it is necessary to enter the PIN (6 to 16 digits alphanumeric characters) of the digital certificate for signature.
If you have not updated your My Number Card information when moving in the past, you will not be able to use the online application. To update your Mine Number Card, please go to the reception desk at the municipal office where you live (in the case of Yokohama, your ward office Family Registry Division Registration Section).
Smartphone
Limited to smartphones that support My Number Card. Please confirm page of Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system (outside site) for recommended operating environment.
In order to use the service, it is necessary to register the user in the Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System and install a dedicated application. Please install from page of Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system (outside site).
(You can also apply using your computer and card reader. It is necessary to install an application for personal computers (electronic signature extension AP). Please confirm page (outside site) of Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system for recommended operating environment. )
Credit card or smartphone payment
- Credit cards are available for VISA, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, and Diners Club.
- Smartphone payments are supported by PayPay and LINEPay.
Necessary items (corporate)
Digital certificates based on commercial registration
When applying, it is necessary to enter the password of the digital certificate.
Online applications cannot be used for digital certificates other than digital certificates (outside sites) based on commercial registration.
If the information on the digital certificate does not match the user registration information, you cannot use the online application. Please correct the user registration information to the correct information.
Personal computer
If you are a corporation, you will need to apply from a personal computer. Please note that you cannot apply from your smartphone.

- We perform user registration of Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system beforehand. In addition, since it is necessary to perform electronic signature with digital certificate, in the case of application from smartphone, please install application called Yokohama e application (Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system portal). (In the case of PC, please confirm page of Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system (outside site) (outside site).)
- Enter required items from the application page for the certificate you want to obtain.
- After confirming the input contents, perform an electronic signature. In the case of a smartphone, the dedicated application (Yokohama e-application) starts automatically, so read the digital certificate of My Number Card. Corporations read "electronic certificates based on commercial registration" from their personal computer. (When individual applies on PC, please confirm page of Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system (outside site) (outside site).)
- After completing the electronic signature, return to the web screen you are applying for and press the application button.
- After confirming the application details at the ward office Tax Division, you will receive an email requesting a fee payment. From My Page, proceed to the payment screen of the fee and make the payment.
- After confirming payment information at the ward office Tax Division, we will send you a certificate by mail.
Notes
- We may contact you with your registered Phone number or e-mail address to confirm your application details.
- If payment cannot be confirmed within one week from the date of sending the fee payment request email, the application will be canceled.
- After paying the fee, we will deliver it in about 2 days to 1 week. However, it may take longer than usual depending on the time of payment of fees, postal circumstances, weekends and holidays, etc.
