Payment requirements
Target person
Those who meet all of the following four conditions
(1) Being a member of the Yokohama City National Health Insurance receiving salary.
(2) Infection with new coronavirus infection or having symptoms such as fever and suspected infection, making it impossible to work for medical treatment.
(3) There must be a break from work for three consecutive days and there must be days after the fourth day.
(4) Not being able to receive payment such as salary, or being partially reduced.
Period covered by payment
During the period when three days have elapsed since the date on which the labor cannot be submitted to the labor, the date on which the work was planned (up to one year and six months)
(Note 1) If you cannot confirm the date on which you were planning to work, you will not be eligible.
(Note 2) Covered period: From January 1, Reiwa 2 to May 7, 2013 (the day three days have elapsed since the date on which labor was no longer available for labor)
Amount paid
(Total salary income for the last three months ÷ number of working days) x 2/3 x number of days
(Note 1) However, if the salary is partially reduced or paid, or if compensation for leave can be received, the amount paid may be reduced or not paid.
(Note 2) There is an upper limit to the amount paid.
FAQs
Those who have earned income under the Income Tax Law are eligible.
Freelancers (sole proprietors) are not eligible because they are business income.
However, in the case of a corporation, it is eligible because the salary is paid as an officer remuneration (salary income).
It will be eligible. Age, occupation, or employment type do not matter if you are receiving a salary.
Close contacts without symptoms are not eligible.
Depending on the status of the test, such as when you have symptoms, you may be eligible, so please consult with your ward office Insurance and Pension Division.
You can apply for the sickness and sickness allowance to the employee health insurance.
If you are subscribed to employee health insurance other than Yokohama National Health Insurance, please check your health insurance card and contact the employee health insurance listed.
Applications are eligible for payment until May 7, 2023 on days after 3 days from the date on which labor cannot be submitted are eligible for payment.
<Example 1>
・If labor is unable to work due to medical treatment from May 4, 2013 to May 11, 2013
Since May 7, 2023 is the fourth day, eligible for payment
<Example 2>
・If labor is not possible for medical treatment due to medical treatment from May 7, 2013 to May 14, 2013
Not eligible for payment because May 10, 2023 is the fourth day.
