Last Updated January 23, 2019
This is a system of mutual help.
We all want to live well at all times. However, I don't know when I get sick or injured. In such a case, you must have some kind of medical insurance so that you can receive treatment with peace of mind.
National Health Insurance is a system in which all members pay out and help each other in case something goes wrong.
What is National Health Insurance?
The medical insurance system includes the employee health insurance, which is enrolled through the workplace, the Medical System for Elderly Seniors, for those aged 75 and over, and the National Health Insurance for other people.
National Health Insurance (National Health Insurance) is made on a regional basis, and is operated jointly by municipalities and prefectures.
And it is stipulated by law that all people except those who have taken out the employee health insurance at work (and those who are receiving welfare), have National Health Insurance.
medical expenses is supported by insurance premiums.
National Health Insurance members have the "right" to receive medical treatment through insurance, but also have the "duty" to pay insurance premiums.
