Free development support for pre-school children with disabilities

From October 1, 2019, the user's burden on services such as elementary school student Development Support for Preschool Children will be free of charge.

There is no need for procedures associated with the free use of facilities for children with disabilities.
(You can continue to use your beneficiary ID until the deadline.)

Eligible Services

 elementary school student Development Support
 Medical-type elementary school student Development Support
 Support for visiting nursery schools
 Welfare facilities for children with disabilities
 Medical facilities for children with disabilities
 Home-visit elementary school student Development Support

Target period

Three years from April 1, the first time a child is 3 years old.

(Example)
Free period elementary school student's Birthday

From October 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020

From April 2, 2013 to April 1, 2016
From April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021 From April 2, 2014 to April 1, 2017

About the procedure

・For usage after October 1, 2019, the co-payment paid by parents to business establishments will be free of charge.
・There is no need for procedures associated with the free use of facilities for children with disabilities.
 (You can continue to use your beneficiary ID until the deadline.)
・In the future, when renewing the recipient ID, etc., we plan to print the period eligible for free of charge sequentially.

Other notes

・Households exempt from municipal tax are already free of charge.
・You will continue to pay non-user expenses (such as medical expenses and food expenses currently borne by actual expenses).
・If you use both kindergartens, nursery schools, certified children's schools, etc., and the above services, both are eligible for free of charge.
・Due to the revision of the national system, it is also eligible for free use when using facilities for children with disabilities outside the city.
