Minowa Elementary School (Kohoku Ward)

Minowa Elementary School in Kohoku Ward was established on April 1, 2020 to respond to the increase in the number of elementary school studenｔ at Hiyoshidai Elementary School and Tsunashimahigashi Elementary School, and to improve the educational environment in elementary school studenｔ.

In response to consultation from the Board of Education, the Yokohama City School Scale Optimization Exploratory Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) consists of areas related to Hiyoshidai Elementary School and Tsunashimahigashi Elementary School, PTA representatives, school officials, etc. The “Hiyoshidai Elementary School Second Area School Opening Preparatory Subcommittee” (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”), and the newly established elementary school commuting area, school area, school has been examined.
The subcommittee held a total of four times over a period of about six months from November 2016 to May 2016, and summarized the results of the examination in a written opinion. We discussed in committee and reported to Board of Education according to statement of position that had you put together in sectional meeting. .
We submitted a request for school safety to Kohoku Director General.
