Overview

　Since April 2021, Yokohama City has been implementing a “selective delivery type school lunch”.
　Based on the assumption for FY2022, we expect a eating rate of about 30%, but we are working to ensure that all students who wish to have lunch are provided.
　Regarding the future of junior high school meals, based on the purpose of the School Lunch Act, sort out issues for all implementation methods, examine implementation schedules, sounding surveys for businesses (first time), and questionnaire surveys for students and parents. We have been examining such things. In response to this, in the next medium-term plan (draft) announced on August 30, the use of junior high school lunches will be used in principle from FY2026, and the direction to proceed with preparations for securing a supply system using a delivery method Was shown.
　In order to provide a reference when considering the future of junior high school lunch, which we aim to announce in December 2022, we conducted a second dialogue (sounding survey) for businesses interested in the junior high school lunch business in Yokohama City.
