Yokohama City has been conducting various studies and initiatives for the implementation of school lunch at junior high schools since 2026. Regarding the procurement of ingredients, we are working with the Yokohama School Food Education Foundation, which procures ingredients for school lunch, such as Municipal Elementary Schools and Special Needs School, we are studying the procuring safe ingredients and utilizing local ingredients.
