About approach about ingredients procurement of junior high school lunch from 2026

Overview

In Yokohama City, we are conducting various studies and initiatives for the implementation of school lunch in junior high schools starting in FY2026. With regard to the procurement of ingredients, we are working with the Yokohama School Shokuiku Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation that procures ingredients for school lunch, such as the Municipal Elementary Schools Special Needs School, to consider the procurement of safe ingredients and the use of locally produced ingredients.
