What is Super Science High School?
Super Science High School (abbreviation: SSH) is a project conducted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) since FY 2002. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has designated high schools that provide advanced science and mathematics education to develop future international science and technology personnel.
Initiatives at Yokohama Municipal High School
At Yokohama Municipal High School, Yokohama Science Frontier High School has been evaluated for its cutting-edge initiatives, and has been designated as SSH for five years from 2010 to 2014, and for five years from 2015 to 2019 (FY2019).
